Hennessy

Founded in 1765 by Richard Hennessy, an Irish Officer who fought in the French Army and later became a French citizen. One hundred years after Richard Hennessy started his company, his great grandson Maurice developed the classification of cognac that would become the VS, VSOP and XO rating that we use today. Hennessy have set the standards for Cognac making for centuries it is then little wonder that they have become one of the biggest names in the Cognac market.
